CREATION: THE BABY BOUTIQUE EXPO, is Chicago’s premiere hip and upscale showcase of “The Best for Modern Moms and Trendy Toddlers.” Celebrating all things baby, it is a first-class collaboration of discovery and experience with trendy baby and children’s wear, cutting-edge products, baby gear, innovative services, education, experts, lively entertainment and more for new and expecting Chicago moms and babies.
Creation is designed for new and expecting moms, grandmas, aunts, children and friends, plus dads, grandpas and uncles. It’s next presentation will be Sunday, September 16, at the Lakeshore Athletic Club. It will feature a fashion show and exciting activities for kids: acclaimed children’s singer Joel Frankel and Nili Yelin, The Storybook Mom.

CREATION: THE BABY BOUTIQUE EXPO was founded Julia Jacobs-Sanford, herself a new mother. She is producing it at Lakeshore in conjunction with Candice Kuhnen of ABC Communications. Julia, who has produced three previous baby expos in the past year, felt the need for someplace that would inspire, educate and excite her as a “Modern Mom.” She came up with the idea for CREATION: THE BABY BOUTIQUE EXPO to bring together some of the finest individuals and organizations in the Chicago area to showcase their products and services for all of Chicago’s modern moms.”
The previous expos were held in Skokie, Chicago and Northbrook. There will also be an expo October 7 in Orland Park.
Says Julia, “We are extremely selective about who exhibits. We just don’t have the room to accommodate everyone. I am thrilled and deeply flattered with the response from those who have attended and those who want to showcase their merchandise and activities.”
In addition to great shopping opportunities and all-day entertainment, one of the significant components of all CREATION: THE BABY BOUTIQUE EXPOS is education. Julia’s goal is to provide new and expecting moms with the opportunity to network and to speak with experts.
